I just thought some of you might enjoy seeing some of the projects Maverick has been working on this last week for school.  On the left, he has wired together a simple circuit and created a switch using a paper clip, thumb tacks, copper wire, a battery and a light socket.  He enjoyed making the light bulb come on and go off!  We will be completing our unit on Electricity soon.

On the right, he has been working on a mosaic piece.  We broke the glass tiles with a hammer and then he glued them to a plastic box.  This week Maverick will be grouting the piece.  We just finished a unit on Ancient Rome and thought this would be a fun project to conclude with.

As far as school goes, we are counting down the days!  Two and a half weeks leftSmile!!!  I guess it does pay not to have snow days:)  On May 16th, we will be traveling to San Antonio for a home school convention to pick out the curriculum for 2008-2009 school year.  Please pray for us as we make this decision.  Just like all parents...we want the best for our children and there will be lots of curriculums there to choose from.

Have a great week and know that you are loved!
